The ocean is very special to us, and we want to protect it; but to do so, we must understand nature.  We believe there are no better teachers to learn from than the Butchulla people.

Our goal is to ensure that you leave our boat relaxed and with a whole new perspective and appreciation of Aboriginal culture. Because let's face it - it’s a culture we should all be proud of.

Your total immersion experience begins as we welcome you into our Marina office and family. Take a deep breath, relax and enjoy the incredible hospitality and wealth of knowledge that all our staff are super keen to share with you.

As you climb aboard our beautiful glass-bottomed boat, you’ll know that something special is about to take place.  Easy to board and steady, like the sea turtles she is named for, Milbi goes gently on these pristine waters.

And - the best bit - you get to design your adventure.

You decide whether to fully immerse yourself in the activities on board. Settle in and listen to the captivating stories from your guide. Or just completely chill to the natural rhythms of nature. I’d suggest a little of all three.

• Snorkel if mother nature allows us to see her beautiful reef on the day.  Weather and tides permitting. 


• Join the search for turtles, dolphins, dugongs, sea birds or maybe something more..


• Sneak off to your own private corner of a picture-perfect beach.  Trust me, your first step onto that sand will feel like you're the first person to ever set foot on the land.

Prepare to be transported to another time and place, as your guide explains how they were taught to look to the elements, and further afield, to the stars for signs. It’s a breathtaking moment that will live on long after your gentle journey back to the dock. 

How will you find the energy to do all this? - We've got you covered with our complementary food and snacks.  Drinks are also available for purchase should that tickle your fancy. Sipping a delicious beverage and looking out on the amazing views is the ultimate in relaxation.

Bathroom facilities are available on board.

It's important to note that, because of our dedication to working with the environment, we work with nature and conditions on the day. This means itineraries are changing with the weather and currents. Mother Nature changes things daily, so this relaxed tour goes with the flow.  If Mother Nature is truly not playing well with us - we may have to reschedule your visit to ensure you have the best experience we can offer.

What to bring? - water bottle, hat, swimmers, towel, sunglasses (Polaroids are excellent for on the water), camera, comfortable sandals. 

Forgotten some of these?  No problems at all.  We sell hats, sunglasses, water bottles (we'll fill it up for you for free) and sunscreen and various weather appropriate clothing items. 

Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Fruits, Lunch, Snorkelling equipment, beach activities (beach cricket and games) all provided.

There are no baby changing facilities onboard Milbi. 

It's best to change into your bathers/swimmers before boarding.  Then pop your clothes on top.  Aussie style. 

There are bathroom facilities to do this right next to our Office.

If you've reached this point in the reviews - trust me - don't hesitate any further - just book. We had the best day and 24 hours later are still incredibly relaxed. The team were amazing. Knowledgable. Professional. Friendly and eager to answer any cultural questions you could have. Jojo performed a Welcome to Country" ceremony which was deeply moving and an honour to see. Pelican Bank - what can I say - heaven on earth. No photos would do it justice. White sand. Isolation. Crystal clear blue water. We lay in the water for almost an hour without moving. From the boat, we searched for turtles, a dolphin and a stingray. We snorkelled - and any beginners got a huge helping hand. The equipment was provided!!! All the facilities on board were top notch. Clean and comfortable. It's not very often that you feel a group tour has ended too soon - but this one did. Set aside the whole day and arrange a dinner out - to soak in the experience and relaxation when you get home. Don't hesitate - book now before word gets out. Jack 2021
