When fully guided tours are not that appealing to you and you'd rather do things your way, a transfer to a remote island is the best way to unwind on your trip to Hervey Bay. No strict itineraries, no schedules. The vessel will take you off to what will feel like your own private island, where you can relax on the beach and swim in clear waters. 


Experience a tranquil 3 hr scenic cruise along the beautiful shallow waters of the Great Sandy Straits: Explore a Remote island, take a refreshing swim, unwind, connect with nature, or lose yourself in a good book - the choice is yours.  Enjoy a morning tea with tea, coffee, juice, muffins, and fresh fruit.  Direct beach landing, 1.5 hours of scenic cruising, and 1.5 hours of beachside bliss. Snorkel equipment available for hire for those eager to dive in for a beach snorkel.   Keep your eyes peeled for Dolphins, Turtles, Dugongs, and Coastal Birds. Please check in by 08:45 AM.

Take a fishing rod, or perhaps a good book. For  the active kids, here there is plenty of room to run, jump and explore, cricket set and beach balls available.

Please note this is not a reef tour or reef snorkelling, snorkelling available over the beaches only.


Departure point: Great Sandy Straits Marina Terminal, Shop 6/17 Buccaneer Dr, Urangan QLD 4655 (opposite Cafe Balaena).


What to bring? - water bottle, snacks, hat, sunglasses, camera, beach towel, book, fish rod. Whatever you need to relax!
